Pink blue and green

I was so pleased! Mama finally rolled in last night .... I was so excited to see her I screamed out laughing, much to Mama's surprise and joy!!
And she brought the Bernard Bunch back a lovely present .... tulips. Black ones. She looked like she was waiting for us to look excited ....

but none of us were. When will she understand that we simply do NOT share her passion for all things gardening ??? .... ho hum!!

Hey guys, did I tell you that before she left, Mama's bullfinch eggs all hatched? Look, this is what they looked like last week .... they make a LOT of noise considering how tiny they are!

This is what they looked like when she got back.

I get up to such wonderful adventures with my brothers when Mama's not around!

I think black tulips are fabulous! Then again, I love all colors of tulips.

Princess Abigail, that picture of you on the stairs is just adorable! Such a darling child! Think you're mommy will trade? Maddie is a bit raunchy today.

My challenge this morning is to find words...but I think I will go with the crowd - ADORABLE!

Mostly you, Princess, but he chickies are very cute, too.

I have to say I have never seen a black tulip - not.in.Texas. But I dooo love gardening and am happy to report we are receiving blessed rain this week on my lawn and trees and bushes - some with flowers! Love, Dr.B

Oh- two lips is a FLOWER! I thought it was lips. Silly me.

And you have chickies! I did not know chickies came in such beaudiful colors. The chickies here mostly come in brown. I asked Mommy for a blue chickie but she said no. I think the cats would like one too. Mommy is being mean.

Can you send a chickie by mail if you put a stamp on it?

Hugs to you, Abigail! I've been so busy gardening I have not had time to read blogs! Crazy, I know!

Fortunately I am up early this morning and I am so glad to see you and your Mama and your friends.
