Africa, beautiful Africa, my Mama's home

When my Mama was my age she went to live in Lusaka. My Mama LOVES Africa passionately and keeps reminding me of my African origins transmitted through my Mama's mutual adoption of the Zambian nation. She's the fat one in the front row third from right with pig tails ... Just before I decided to come into my Mama's life, she returned to Lusaka for a joyous trip down memory lane - this is the house that she grew up in - she's standing right in front of her old bedroom window. This is the lady who lives in that house now.

This is the Munies where my Mama's family used to go in the evenings to watch hockey and football matches - it looked very different back then, so she tells me!

Mama linked up with this friend of hers who is now a very famous Zambian national television presenter. And her brother made this special Zambian dress my Mama is sporting here, cos he's a really nifty tailor:Mama asked this crocodile if he remembered her last boat road down the Zambeze -he wasn't impressed ...

Mama obviously forgot how powerful the shower projected from the Victoria Falls can be ...

Apparently this is a mad rhino ... he charged on my Mama, so she claims ... he looks pretty harmless to me but apparently he's a pretty famous mad rhino ..

My Mama gets very, very nostalgic over this picture ... she is really very crazy about Africa ...

Mama will take you there someday and don't worry about the crocodiles, she scares 'em...
