My big brother William is 9 years old!!!!

On Sunday it was William's birthday party - boy was it fun with all his mates! He had a 'Detectives in training' party where everyone dressed up as a super hero ... and as usual, I was the star of the show!!!!!


William was, predictably, very calm, well behaved, demure and grown-up. As were his friends



They played a game of 'guess whats in the box' to develop their sense of deduction - these are William's friends Aymeric, Enzo, Florian and Simon (they won the game)

And here is Princess Leia, the superheroine of the day, and who took extra special care of me whilst Mama was being silly and pretending to be a detective with the boys ...

Oh by the way, have a mentioned that I am henceforth upwardly mobile?

I'm a real YUPPY I am, get a load of this!!No more being pushed in the pushchair for me - now it is MOI who does the pushing!!!

And now, I am even able to run after Claude when he turns up for my physiotherapy sessions - I'm a real speedy gonzalez on my knees now!!!

I still have to practice staying up, and in the process still tend to bop my pretty little forehead - but I will get there soon! Watch this space - this is a future Olympic Champion!!!

Mama gets me back at last !!!!

Mama finally crawled back home after much too much time in Marrakesh - and even though I tried to sulk with her at first and pretend I barely recognized her, it wasn't long before she was smothering me to bits in her usual delicate fashion and I just LOVED it! Welcome home Mama!!!!

Big Bill and Big Nathe were also glad to have her back, although they had enjoyed a brief rest from the permanent poise of a lurking camera shooting our every activity ... look at the enthusiasm we managed to muster up here!!!


I am COVERED in bruises at the moment - I am determined to walk soon and in the learning process tend to knock myself against furniture, walls and floors - especially my forhead. The platelets thingie means I bruise very easily ... but I nevertheless manage to look a real knock-out, don't I???!!!

Oh - and this is my Mama's claim to fame - guess who she met last week? Anyone recognize him??

Eva has just turned four!!!

My friend Eva who came to visit me last summer with little Charlotte had her fourth birthday whilst Mama was in Marrakesh ... what a big girl she is!!! A tres bientot Eva!!!! Et j'espere que tu as passe un anniversaire formidable - je sais que ma Maman a pensee tres fort a toi!!!!

MY MAMA IS VERY VERY SAD TODAY

My Mama is so so sad ... she has to take the plane this evening to Marrakesh, and she is very very nervous.. because this is the first time she will be separated from her little princess. Poor Mama, she is very sad indeed!

I tried all I could last night to cheer her up, we even got disguised - it was great fun!!!

But I know Mama is just putting on a brave face cos she knows she is going to miss me very very much!

Oi you Abigail! Don't let the cat out of the bag! I'm pretending to be brave here, and here's a big kiss just before I go off ... can't wait to get back next Friday though!!
