But as soon as I have nodded offmy brothers sneak in (usually Nathan I might add)
and take the warm niche I leave behind

I like sleeping on my Daddy too. Daddys make the best pillows. Mommys make good pillows too. My kitties are softer but they no make nice pillows because they are all wiggilous.
